What do we love about yogurts? They are tasty, creamy and delicious to eat at any moment of the day. You can eat them as a dessert, snack, plain or  flavoured..

Sadly, yogurt is not as healthy as we thought. A study published this month in the British Medical Journal demonstrates that not all yogurts are the same. The research explains than more than 900 yogurts in the UK have more than 10gr of sugar per 100gr serving. One result that was shocking was to learn that organic yogurts had more sugar than the rest , could vary from 13gr to 17gr! The same for children's yogurts. 

Only natural  and Greek Style yogurts could be classed as low in sugar.

We have always wanted to try to make our own batch; it is easy and simple to make, you only need milk and natural yogurt. There are plenty of DIY videos to learn from. We will use a "Yogurt Maker" as we have a                                                                                                               busy life and it makes it by itself. 

Making your own yogurts, saves you money and it is the perfect excuse to present  yogurts in special bowl, jar or plate. Have some fruit, granola or honey to make your own flavour!
