Thermomix

What an amazing present Santa has given me!!! A Thermomix! At home we love cooking, and we like to cook in the traditional way; but the reality is that with both parents working full time, it is hard to spend time in the kitchen. A Thermomix is a great way to help with the busy week. It can cook plenty of healthy, tasty and varied meals with little input. Of course, during the weekend we will spend more time cooking!

What is a Thermomix? A Thermomix is a cooking revolution, it is the most powerful blender; it can also knead dough, steam, grate, mix, whisk, blend, emulsify, cook, weight...Well, maybe the question is what can't it do? It is also composed of a lid with a measuring cup, motor, mixing blades, heating system, integrated scales...The company , Vorwerk, says that it can replace 12 kitchen appliances. 

If your economy can't afford the price of it, which is quite dear, why not buying a second hand one? Find your local Vorwerk representative near you and ask for this affordable way. I might not have the newest version, but it surely can do most of the things that the new version does. It doesn't have the electronic chef installed, but there are plenty of books and blogs with amazing recipes to follow. 

We will share recipes that will make our life easier. We like to provide our little boy with varied meals to take for his packed lunches and not just a sandwich, as the main meal. With the Thermomix we will be able to prepare these meals while we spend quality time with him.
